Autumn Palen was born and raised in San Diego, California.

She graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2017, where she obtained a B.F.A. in Film & TV Production.

She has had several years of on-set experience, from Public Access and Broadcast Television, to Graduate and Undergraduate student films, and has completed artistic residencies through Getaway Cabins in New Hampshire, De Licerias 18 in Porto, and Maajaam in Otepää.

Her interest in visual storytelling began early, sparked by a desire to entertain school friends during recess, and continually kindled by a passion for bringing engaging, unconventional, diverse and absurd projects to life.

Autumn can currently be found in Los Angeles, where she works for Underscore Films.
